Alpkit Edinburgh

Here at Alpkit we know the joy, convenience and health benefits that access to cycling can bring, being able to jump on a bike and find that feeling of freedom. Refugees don't often have that opportunity, and to be able to support the amazing work of Bikes for Refugees making bikes and cycling free and accessible to New Scots is really special and an honour.

Cheemia

As a Scottish business owner, I feel it is important to promote healthy activities and address social inequalities. BfR is doing exactly that, by giving a heartfelt warm Scottish welcome to refugees. Cheemia has been passionately supporting BfR since 2018 through donations and team fundraising enabling the purchase of 30 bikes for New Scots and 100 bicycle helmets for refugee children. As an immigrant and passionate cyclist, this is the stuff that puts the fire in my belly inspiring me to do more to fight inequality in Scotland.

Pilot Beer

Pilot appreciates the value of a warm welcome, particularly to those who really need it so we’re absolutely delighted to support Bikes For Refugees. Most of us in the brewery are regular cyclists and recognise the joy and freedom a bike brings and we can think of no better way to extend a hand of friendship to New Scots from across the world. We are so proud to work with Bikes For Refugees and look forward to doing so for many years to come.
